The functions of the current cargo workforce include control room operatives, static reception duties, access control of warehouse premises, perimeter patrols, gatehouse control and the screening of all non-secure export consignments using x-ray machines, explosive trace detectors (ETD) and handsearch. Staff are available 24-hours daily, and rosters are tailored to meet the operational needs of the client.
